If you are looking for a top quality Time Trial Bike, aero wheels or any other specific high end parts without the high end prices associated with the top name brands then you need to check out Kinetic-one based in Gloucester. I recently purchased a set of their K1 aero wheels which at 1507g a pair, compare very favourably with the top end brands but at a cost of just £375 including high pressure tapes, inner tubes and delivery. At this price you could get two pairs for the cost of some of the higher end brands.
At 95kg in weight I did wonder if they would be strong enough to support the power I generate up hills, but on their maiden ride, they did not disappoint.
Before going for a bling name brand, I sincerely advise you to get in touch with Andy at Kinetic-one.

Synergy 3 is run Richard Harris and is based in Cardiff, South Wales. Richard is my former sports science tutor and is one of the nicest and most knowledgeable people you could ever wish to meet. He specialises in a range of courses from HSE First Aid through to preparations for the UKSCA strength and conditioning certification. There are a lot of training providers out there who can coach you in how to pass exams. However what sets Richard and his team apart is their sincere desire and abilities to bring out the best in each individual and ensure their practical understanding of sports science backs up the theory.

Velo Club L'Escargot is run by Roger Dunbar and based in Cardiff, South Wales. It's aim is to promote the discipline of ultra endurance cycling both locally and further a field. They've noticed that whilst road racing and shorter distance time trials have a number of resources and club dedicated to those events, there doesn't appear to be a club or web resource that specifically focuses on the various types of ultra events, for example:
- 12-hour Time Trials
- 24-hour Time Trials
- Events promoted by the UltraMarathon Cycling Association, e.g. Race Across America (RAAM), Race Around Ire
